Payment Guidelines

Tennessee state law requires any type of federal or state-issued ID in order to sell scrap metal. We can pay cash via an onsite ATM for most items unless prohibited by state law. State law requires a 5-day waiting period for copper payments, and you must have an HVAC license to sell coils from AC units.

Radioactive materials
Mercury / mercury switches
PCB containing materials such as capacitors or light ballasts
Liquids of any type
Flammable materials
Trash, garbage, concrete and other non-recyclable items
Broken, cracked, or leaking batteries
Office machines and electronic equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, scanners, computers and monitors
Materials with strong or objectionable odors
Materials containing asbestos
Unidentifiable materials
